Share Your Input on Georgia's Rural Active Transportation Plan

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is inviting residents, local governments, businesses, and community organizations to help shape the future of walking, bicycling, and other forms of active transportation in rural Georgia.
The Rural Statewide Active Transportation Plan (ATP) will create a long-term vision for improving safety, connectivity, and accessibility for people who walk, bike, roll, or use other human-powered or small electric mobility devices in rural communities across the state. Public input will help identify priorities and guide future transportation investments and policies.
Community members are encouraged to visit the project's interactive Engagement Hub to:
- Learn about the planning process and project goals.
- Review proposed strategies and recommendations.
- Complete the public survey and share feedback about transportation needs in your community.
Local governments are especially encouraged to participate and share the survey with residents, community partners, and stakeholders.
Visit the project website to explore the Engagement Hub, download fact sheets and outreach materials, and take the survey:
