Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program 2026-2027 Funding Cycle in Progress

This is a reminder that the Pre-application period for the 2026-2027 Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program (GOSP) is in progress. Access to the GOSP Pre-application portal is available at https://gadnr.org/grants . Proposals for GOSP grants must be submitted by October 16, 2026.


Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program

Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program (GOSP) is a grant and loan program administered by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, authorized by The Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Act. Through GOSP, Conserve Georgia Grants and Loans are awarded to provide stewardship for state parks; state lands and wildlife management areas; to support local parks and trails; and to protect critical conservation lands. Eligible applicants include qualified local governments (as determined by the Department of Community Affairs), constituted recreation authorities (registered with the Department of Community Affairs), state agencies and nongovernmental entities with a core mission of conservation.

 

GOSP Pre-application dates are as follows:

August 3, 2026 - Pre-application window opened

October 16, 2026 - Pre-application window closes
