View/Download ProposalThe City of Pelham has officially released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for architectural services related to the restoration of its historic Carnegie Library, located at 133 Hand Avenue, Pelham, GA. This initiative, supported by the Emergency Supplemental Historic Preservation Fund (ESHPF), is aimed at addressing significant structural and environmental damage caused by Hurricane Michael and subsequent weather events.
The project will include mold remediation, foundation and roof repair, structural rehabilitation, interior preservation, and the restoration of historic elements consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. Firms must be licensed in the State of Georgia and demonstrate a proven track record with ESHPF or similar preservation projects.

8/29 - Entrepreneur Growth Lab
View Full RFPSouthwest Georgia Regional Commission (SWGRC) has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to deliver a cohort-based Entrepreneur Growth Lab serving Region 10.
The initiative—aligned with the Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing (GA AIM) Build Back Better Regional Challenge—will equip established and emerging business owners with tools, mentorship, and peer collaboration to grow and sustain their companies.
What this program is about:
SWGRC seeks qualified business and education consulting agencies to run a hands-on cohort that blends instruction, expert input, and implementation support.
Priority sectors include manufacturing, advanced technology, agriculture/food, and logistics, with core content spanning strategy, operations, financial management and funding readiness, leadership and talent, supply chain/inventory, and sustainability planning.
This effort is part of SWGRC’s ecosystem-building work under GA AIM, focused on food production manufacturing, start-ups, supply-chain logistics, and workforce development.
Who should apply
Agencies with demonstrated experience delivering entrepreneur cohorts, technical assistance, and real-world business outcomes—especially those serving Region 10’s 14 counties and 43 cities—are encouraged to propose.

- RFP release: August 8, 2025
- Deadline for questions (email only): August 29, 2025 to bshiver@swgrc.org
- Proposals due: September 5, 2025 by 5:00 PM to bshiver@swgrc.org (late submissions not considered)
- Award notice: October 1, 2025; project start: October 2025; anticipated completion: July 30, 2026.
Budget
Total project budget not to exceed $100,000. Partial awards may be made based on alignment with ecosystem goals and available funding.

Include:
- a cover letter;
- proof of business licensure or nonprofit status;
- work plan and timeline;
- team bios;
- relevant experience with examples; and
- an affirmative statement that work can begin upon award.
Selection process
Proposals will be reviewed, evaluated, and ranked by SWGRC staff.
Finalists may be invited to interview.
SWGRC may accept or reject any proposal, in whole or in part.
