Notice of Pre-Application Opening
Pre-Applications will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25.
The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) has opened the third round of pre-applications for the Georgia Rehoused Grant Program.
Georgia Rehoused provides funding opportunities for communities working to reduce unsheltered homelessness across the state.

The pre-application process allows DCA to review proposed projects, determine basic eligibility, and help communities prepare for the competitive application process. Communities that submit a pre-application will receive guidance from DCA on whether they are ready to move forward with a full application or need to address additional eligibility requirements.

- October 7, 2026, 10–11 a.m. – Georgia Rehoused informational webinar
- October 14, 2026 – Capacity Building Webinar: Application Readiness Workshop
- November 4, 2026 – Notice of Funding and Competitive Application released
- November 17, 2026 – Capacity Building Webinar: Need Statement and Data Narrative
- November 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. – Pre-application deadline
- December 16, 2026 – Competitive application deadline
Capacity Building Assistance Available
The Georgia Rehoused Capacity Building Program is also available to help applicants develop stronger and more competitive applications.
Through webinars, office hours, technical assistance, and other resources, organizations can receive help turning local homelessness needs into complete and fundable project proposals.
Previous Georgia Rehoused applicants are also encouraged to participate.
