Georgia Communities Invited to Register for 2027 Bring One for the Chipper
The Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation is inviting communities across the state to register as collection sites for the 2027 Bring One for the Chipper Christmas tree recycling program.
Each year, communities collect live Christmas trees after the holidays and give them a second life. Recycled trees can be turned into mulch, fish habitat, and other useful materials, helping keep trees out of landfills while supporting local environmental efforts.

Host a Collection Site
Cities, counties, and other organizations interested in hosting a local collection site are encouraged to participate.
Registered hosts will receive access to an updated promotional toolkit to help advertise their event. Hosts may also request tree seedlings to distribute to residents during their collection event.
Community registration is open through Wednesday, December 2, 2026.
Looking to Participate?
Residents who want to recycle their Christmas tree or volunteer at a local event will be able to find participating locations on the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation website.
A statewide list of collection sites, dates, and participation details is expected to be available during the second week of December.
