PIN Fellowship: Empowering Georgia’s Emerging Leaders Through Innovation and Collaboration

In an exciting move to foster innovation and workforce development, the highly anticipated PIN Fellowship program has launched, aiming to connect talent to industry across Georgia and the Southeast. This groundbreaking initiative is designed to empower early-career professionals while strengthening ties between public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

Building the Workforce of Tomorrow

The PIN Fellowship is an experiential learning program tailored for recent graduates who hold a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree obtained within the last five years. The program provides participants with hands-on experience, skill development, and a unique opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders. Fellows are placed in a one-year rotational program that includes six-month placements at two organizations — one public and one private — aligned with their expertise and career goals.

The program’s six focus areas are:

  1. Sustainability and Infrastructure (Cleantech): Developing strategies for environmental responsibility.
  2. AI Manufacturing: Leveraging artificial intelligence for operational efficiency, supported by the Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing (Georgia-AIM) grant.
  3. Supply Chain & Logistics: Innovating best practices for effective supply chain management.
  4. Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity: Enhancing digital infrastructures and security.
  5. Financial Technology (Fintech): Implementing cutting-edge solutions for the financial sector.
  6. Digital Equity: Promoting digital literacy and bridging the technology gap for adults and seniors across Georgia.

A Pathway to Success

Fellows will gain unparalleled exposure to diverse sectors, including government agencies, private corporations, and nonprofits. The rotational structure not only helps participants broaden their skill sets but also equips them with the tools to address complex challenges and foster cross-sector collaboration.

Application Process

The PIN Fellowship’s application process for Fellows is now open and will close on February 28. Interested candidates can visit https://gatech.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0IcLmwk4LgixRUq

to learn more and apply. Applicants must commit to the full year of the program, as it requires immersive engagement with host organizations. Due to the high volume of applications, only selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.

A Future of Growth and Innovation

As the PIN Fellowship gains momentum, its impact is poised to extend far beyond the immediate benefits for participants. By creating a talent pipeline that connects public and private sectors, the program is laying the groundwork for sustainable economic growth and innovation throughout Georgia and the Southeast.
