The City of Blakely Receives a One-Million CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) Award from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and administered by the Southwest Georgia Regional Commission

Funding was awarded to the City of Blakely for sewer system improvements in the amount of $1,000,000. The project will serve 232 low to moderate income residents and will provide better and safer living conditions for citizens of the City of Blakely. SWGRC will also administer this grant for the City of Blakely.
