Communities Receive 2026 GICH Alumni Certification

Several Georgia communities have received 2026 Alumni Certification through the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH), recognizing their continued commitment to addressing local housing needs and strengthening their communities.
GICH Alumni Certification highlights communities that remain actively engaged in implementing housing strategies, maintaining local housing teams, and working collaboratively to expand housing opportunities. These efforts support neighborhood revitalization, economic growth, and improved quality of life for residents.
The Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH) is a statewide program administered through partnerships with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, the University of Georgia, and the Georgia Municipal Association. The program provides communities with resources, training, and collaboration opportunities to help address housing challenges and implement locally driven solutions.
Communities receiving 2026 GICH Alumni Certification are recognized for continuing the work started during their participation in the GICH program and for demonstrating ongoing leadership in housing and community development efforts across Georgia.
