Thank you for considering Southwest Georgia Regional Commission as a potential employer. The Southwest Georgia RC is a regional planning agency serving 14 counties and 44 cities in southwest Georgia. We provide a variety of services to governments throughout the region, including the development and review of zoning and subdivision regulations, land use planning, environmental planning, economic development, GIS and mapping services, grant writing and administration, as well as human services, transportation and historic preservation.

Our application process is as follows:
- Applications can only be accepted for open positions.
- All applicants must submit a separate cover letter stating the name of the position and outlining their qualifications, a resume, as well as the names and phone numbers of three references for each position being applied for (Example: If applying for three positions we should receive three cover letters, three resumes and three sets of references). Incomplete and/or unsolicited submissions will not be considered for employment.
- Complete applications will be kept on file for that specific position announcement. Candidates will need to reapply for each position announcement. Only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
